The Bouteaque is a quaint retail shop with over 130 varieties of loose leaf tea and herbal infusions for health and enjoyment.

Tasmanian owned and operated since 2000, providing an extensive range of quality teas for both retail and wholesale customers. Popular is our Rainbow Blend (Caffeine free rooibos with fruit and florals, great hot, as an iced tea, or in cocktails).

Our core business values are Caring, Being Genuine, Relationships, Health and Making a Difference. All of our staff engage with these values daily and treat LGBTIQA+ people equally with these values, as was demonstrated throughout the development of our LGBTea blend in support of the community and the unanimous Yes vote for marriage equality by management and employees of The Art of Tea. The Art of Tea was approached to sponsor the LGBTIQA+ International Tennis Tournament at the Hobart Tennis Centre in Jan 2017. We created a blend as a gift to the players, at the time named "LGBTea". After the marriage equality vote, we renamed the blend "Rainbow Blend".
