TasCAHRD is the Tasmanian Council on AIDS, Hepatitis and Related Diseases.
We are the peak body for HIV and Hepatitis services in Tasmania.
We support people living with or at risk of acquiring a blood borne virus and deliver community education programs and health promotion activities on HIV, Hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections.
TasCAHRD embraces the LGBTIQA+ community.
We deliver care, support and health promotion to LGBTIQ+ Tasmanians.
Peers are represented at board and at staff level.
We produce Red Thread, an LGBTIQ+ inclusive lifestyle magazine.
Bent Air, Tasmania's only LGBTIQ+ Radio show is an initiative of TasCAHRD.
