Advocacy & Allies - Education & Training - Health & Wellbeing - Professional Services

At Mission Australia, we pride ourselves on promoting an inclusive, supportive and productive employment service.

For decades, Mission Australia has assisted Australians in need in a multitude of different life changing ways with an organisational objective to end homelessness. This is where our Employment Service program comes in. We understand that the world of Employment Services can be daunting and stressful so we endeavor to support our jobseekers every step of the way. We value all of our job seekers, build meaningful connections with them and follow our Mission Australia values at all times; Respect, Perseverance, Compassion, Integrity and Celebration.

We offer support to local job seekers that have medical conditions, including but not limited to; mental illness, mild intellectual disabilities, physical inabilities, and more. I have attached a document for your reference.

We offer a range of personally tailored supports that may include (but are not limited to):
• Navigating Centrelink
• Resume and application letter development
• Individual goal setting and career guidance
• Wage subsidies available for employers
• Assistance in contact with employers and interview preparation
• Funding available for some training and work clothing/equipment.
