My name is Lynn Parlett, and I am a registered celebrant who will create and perform celebrations and ceremonies throughout Tasmania. I am a confident speaker, an imaginative writer and I love to create unique ceremonies that suit the occasion and the people involved.
I became a marriage celebrant specifically so I could provide weddings that were tailored exactly for my couples - and I have proudly officiated at very traditional weddings, casual weddings, a Halloween surprise wedding (dressed as the Pirate Queen), many beach weddings and a very memorable mountain top wedding.
Through my interest in ceremony and ritual, my knowledge of popular culture and traditional forms; along with my skills as a writer, I will craft a unique ceremony, based on the forms, rituals, symbols, hobbies, heroes and emotions that are important to you. I am comfortable at large formal events where the ceremony can be shared with other readers, musicians and well wishers. I love a small, intimate wedding, where the words are few, but meaningful.
