Social Groups
'FRIENDZ' is an informal social group of LGBTIQ people mainly based in Southern Tasmania that hold social gatherings on a regular basis. We hold monthly BBQ/Meals at members homes, restaurants, hotels, as well as weekly coffee mornings both in Hobart & Huonville. Fortnightly Quiz nights are held in Hobart also.
All events are held in non-threatening & safe environments which allows people to mix with like minded people. We are not associated with any other organisation, nor do we have any fundraising requirements or political views. There are no membership fees. Most lunches are held at members homes or parks, you BYO food & drink with BBQ facilities being available. Newsletters are sent from time to time. Members details remain confidential with the Co-Ordinator.
