Colony 47's vision is "a thriving, connected community where no-one is left behind" and our purpose is "to support people to achieve their goals in life." Colony 47 is a Tasmanian, non-denominational service provider that is addressing the needs of people who are homeless and the causes of homelessness in our community.
Colony 47 Housing Connect has a rainbow sticker in the foyer and the office in North Hobart also has rainbow stickers. Our services actively promoted YES during the plebiscite and we are continuing to work on visible support of our LGBTIQ+ community. Colony 47 doesn't specialise in LGBTIQ+ specific services but we do refer clients as needed.
